The Office of Fair Trading Property Occupations Form 6 appoints a buyer's agent. We manage and complete the document with you. This Form 6 is an exclusive legal authority between you and us (as the buyer's agent) to buy property on your behalf.

As your exclusive buyer's agent, we will:

  • Keep your motives and budget confidential;

  • Protect your best interests at all times;

  • Educate you about market conditions and the property buying process;

  • Perform market price comparisons and protect you from overpaying for a property;

  • Provide the facts as to value, the local market, neighbourhood conditions, and obvious physical defects;

  • Negotiate exclusively on your behalf, obtaining the best price and terms;

  • Have a legal and ethical obligation to put your interests first;

  • Fulfil fiduciary duties and adhere to high standards of ethics and integrity; and

  • Provide these services and more at no additional cost to you.
